Socket Bayonet for the M/1845 Percussion Musket (Navy)
The Swedish M/1845 socket bayonet was delivered with the M/1845 percussion musket and used by the Swedish Navy. The bayonet is similar to the M/1840 bayonet, but is shorter.
M/1840 at the top of the picture and M/1845 below. You can see the similarities between the bayonets, but the M/1845 is notable shorter.
The bayonet was produced at the factories Husqvarna and Carl Gustaf Stads.
