Swedish Socket Bayonet to M/1815-26 Flint Lock Musket
The m/1815-26 flintlock musket was used by the jaegers in the Swedish Infantry. The musket looks similar to the standard M/1815 musket, but is shorter. The musket is also notated “shortened M/1815” or “M/1826”.
Since the musket is shorter than M/1815 it was given a longer bayonet. This bayonet looks much like the M/1815 bayonet, but in addition to be longer, it got a more robust neck.
