According to Per Holmbäck, the M/1944 bayonet was delivered with a modified Swedish bayonet frog.
Normally the frogs for the Swedish M/1896 bayonet had two securing traps. Often one of these straps was removed later, but some frogs was made with only one of these straps. These where practical for the M/1944 bayonet.
