Swedish Socket Bayonet for Minié Percussion Rifle M/1857
The only differences between the M/1856 and the M/1857 percussion rifles are that the length of the barrel on the M/1857 is longer and that the sights are differently shaped.
The M/1857 rifle was delivered with a long socket bayonet. The bayonet was produced in Sweden by Husqvarna and Carl Gustaf Stad.
